I’ve been wanting for 2 years to own my personal dSLR and that day has come.
Today, UPS tracking reported that my camera was delivered to my friend in US. He will bring it to me on Monday. I can hardly wait. Budget was low so I had to stick with the default 18-55 lens. I also got the Sandisk Extreme III 2Gb CF card. It may take another years or so before i get an additional lens. First I have to get my wife used to my passion/hobby – imagine that it took more than 2 years before I could buy the camera :)

Congrats on your new 30D! You will love it! I purchased this camera last June and have been very pleased with it. The fast buffer is fabulous. You will be wanting more lenses to go with your new toy.
