It’s pretty hard to find some cool real paintings at a decent price nowadays so I thought I’d give you a good tip if you are looking for some highly original decorations for your walls. Teodor Moraru is a Painter and Professor from the University of Arts in Bucharest and when he’s not teaching, well, he paints :)

It’s a pity that great painters like Teodor Moraru don’t have the means to promote themselves in a proper Romanian online gallery – maybe some of you art lovers out there will find this an interesting idea someday. Think about offline artists, artists that don’t create in Photoshop or other digital tools, what chance do they have in this Internet era?
Besides Mr.Moraru, I know personally two other great painters that sell only to close friends – because they never had means to promote themselves or money to organize a gallery. Another good friend of mine paints bottles of wine in a unique way. Galleries from Paris heard about him and buy his stuff occasionally, but do we care? Internet should help in this area, don’t you think?
