In less than 5 hours my wife and I are going to wake up, pick up Hawkeye and some friends and hit the road for a one week road-trip.  We created this trip around the Metallica concert in Prague, on June 3 and it goes like this:

  • May 31th – Bucharest -> Bratislava – 1021 km – spend one night in Bratislava
  • June 1st – visit Bratislava for 1/2 a day and then off to Prague (335km) – spend the next 4 nights in Prague
  • June 1st – June 5th – Prague – Metallica, Zoo, beer, photos, photos, beer, beer, beer, photos and some more beer
  • June 5h noon – on our way to Vienna (337km) – spend 2 nights in Vienna
  • June 5th – June 7th – enjoy Vienna, more photos, more beer…or maybe something more imperial
  • June 7th – Vienna – Timisoara – Bucharest (564km + 548km)

It’s not going to be easy but we are traveling in a group of 8, 2 cars and several drivers.
