As a proof of my commitment I invited everybody that was present with me that evening (+ their dear ones), in 5 years or sooner, on a trip to Necker Island – Sir Richard Branson’s home and favorite hideaway.

We’re looking at at least a $50k bill so this ought to be good ;)

Îmi scapă mie ceva sau “grupoanele” trebuiau să-ți ofere oareșice discount?
later edit: Am fost contactat de Groupon şi se pare că este vorba doar de o eroare tehnică, ei lucrând cu o echipa de dezvoltare din afara ţării nu au apucat sa actualizeze template-ul newsletter-ului în aşa fel încât să prezinte corect acest nou tip de ofertă – şi anume ofertele cu preţul întreg (dar redus), fără giumbuşlucuri de genul voucher de discount care iţi ofera x lei din valoarea produsului.

Now, that’s what I call a line-up! What kind of money would you be willing to pay for a ticket to Coachella 1969?

On another note, Coachella 2011 was broadcasted live on YouTube and Coachella 2012 will have the same line-up on two weekends – so there will be two identical concerts 13-15th April 2012 and 20-22 April 2012.

In an effort to try and accommodate everyone who wants to experience the festival, COACHELLA 2012 will be two separate events, held over two consecutive weekends. We will attempt to produce two identical festival weekends. That means same lineup, same art, same place, different people.

Pe 31 Mai, am participat, la invitația GolinHarris la un mic eveniment.

După ce am pedalat (a trecut cam mult timp de la ultima bicicleală) printre niște fanioane, m-am ales cu 100 înghețate Algida Big Milk. Cum n-ar fi rău să mai slăbesc vro’ 20kg, m-am gândit să le scot la licitație pentru cauza umanitară HelpOana.ro, o fostă colegă de la Intuitext care suferă de cancer la glanda lacrimală și este mamica a doi copii mici.

Prin urmare, vă invit luni 6 Iunie să serviți masa de prânz la Bistro Conect din incinta Conect Business Park, să serviți o înghețată și să lăsați un bănuț pentru cauza Oanei în cutia care va fi disponibilă acolo. Bineînțeles, puteți oferi șansa la viață unei mamici și prin modalitățile descrise pe HelpOana.ro.

Next step in “daily deals” industry?

1. First we have Groupon & LivingSocial + hundreds of clones.
2. Next natural step was to put those hundreds clones together and create daily deals aggregators. Most successful in Romania (ultra small market compared to US or UK) manage to cash in several k’s euros/month through affiliate marketing.
3. Everybody is waiting for the announced Google Offers and Facebook Deals.
4. First niche “daily deals” site is announced today: mom.com (by cafemom.com ~ a mothers community)
