In less than 5 hours my wife and I are going to wake up, pick up Hawkeye and some friends and hit the road for a one week road-trip. We created this trip around the Metallica concert in Prague, on June 3 and it goes like this:
May 31th - Bucharest -> Bratislava - 1021 km - spend one night in Bratislava
June 1st - visit Bratislava for 1/2 a day and then off to Prague (335km) - spend the next 4 nights in Prague
June 1st - June 5th - Prague - Metallica, Zoo, beer, photos, photos, beer, beer, beer, photos and some more beer
June 5h noon - on our way to Vienna (337km) - spend 2 nights in Vienna
June 5th - June 7th - enjoy Vienna, more photos, more beer…or maybe something more imperial
It’s not going to be easy but we are traveling in a group of 8, 2 cars and several drivers.

Revin doar cu poze din a doua parte. Per total o conferinta interesanta la care s-a discutat mult web. Practic au fost 2 conferinte intr-una pentru ca permanent in lobby erau persoane care discutau si "faceau succese".
Nu sunt deloc multumit de cum mi-au iesit pozele. In loc sa ma plang ca nu am blitz extern mai bine recunosc ca habar nu am sa fac poze si ca de abia acum mi-am dat seama de lucrul asta pentru ca am ocazia sa le vad pe un ecran de Mac.
Cateva poze de la eveniment. Multa lume cunoscuta (duuuh! :) ) si toata lumea "conectata" - live blogging, live twittering, live smoking, live coffee, live Yahoo! girls :). Pauza s-a terminat. Ma intorc la sesiunea de publicitate mobila si Web 2.0.
Astazi voi fi la RoNewMedia, “prima conferinta New Media cu speakeri de talie internationala, la Bucuresti”, organizata de grupul Realitatea-Catavencu prin MoneyExpress. Veti putea urmari live-blogging de la eveniment pe blogul lui Comanescu.
Dupa conferinta, va invit la Karaoke Party in Downstairs, pentru un alt gen de networking ;)
Hilarious but still very true the video below is from the movie “Taking off” (1971) and it tells the story of teaching people how to smoke their first marijuana joint. As I mentioned, the facts are still true - just follow through and you’ll be an expert.
And for those that cannot stop themselves from asking “What should I feel?” or from regretfully declaring that “I don’t feel a thing!!!” just stop, take a breath of air and read this: Marijuana, just as all other soft drugs (hashish, mushrooms, alchool) - do not produce any brain damage - they just amplify your emotional state of mind. If you are sad and depressed - you will be more depressed; if you are happy and feel like partying - you will crap your pants laughing; if you are 100% rational and expect “that feeling” to turn up - it won’t! - you’ll just be even more rational and conscious.

Techcrunch did it again. Following Twitter’s lack of availability during the last days, Michael Arrington posted a blank post that made over 400 comments in 2 days. Probably it will be one of the most popular posts of Techrunch all time. Just check some of the hillarious video comments :)
This is somewhat similar to Bobby Voicu’s confirmation that he’s got the job as Romania Yahoo! Community Manager. Posts with no content but that convey a lot of insight.
