I can no longer stand the heat in Bucharest and decided to go for a breath of fresh air. I will be gone next week - in the mountains, Rodnei mountains. It’s been 11 years since my last visit there - I hope Ioji, the self-taught bodybuilder mountain rescuer is still there so I can have a drink with him and remember the old times.

600km away from Bucharest, in northern Romania - probably we will also reach Maramures - famous for the incredible scenery and wooden churches.

I scheduled some posts for Tuesday and Wednesday. See ya soon.

I can’t hardly wait to enjoy those long weekends at the sea-side, usually on a deserted beach that nobody has heard of, sleeping with our tent directly on the sand and waking up with the seagulls. White sand, cold Mojitos, nice waves …here we come!
