Something I wanted to do a long time, but was to lazy to do it - is now made easy by NoFollow Free plugin for WordPress:

NoFollow Free removes the “nofollow” attribute from your wordpress blog’s comments (precisely from the author’s links) and/or from the comments text links and it inserts (if you want) an image band at the top of your pages with the phrase: “NOFOLLOW FREE”.

Currently you have to comment twice on Webmyc’s Blog in order for you to get the attribute nofollow removed from your URL. Please don’t abuse, although I would be very happy to see you guys comment as often as you want - after all this is one of the main ideas of blogging, right?

This is one of my 1st baby steps toward my readers, if any :)

LATER EDIT: I’ve also installed the CommentLuv plugin which displays your latest blog entry, right after your comment. Thanks eCostin for the inspiration. Let’s keep them comments coming ! :)

I am not 100% satisfied with the current theme and lack of time and experience prevents me from modifying it to match the specifications I need. Also, as some of you might have noticed the current theme breaks if you try to load a category or tag page. If you happen to know an eye-candy theme with the following specs and that is fully compatible with the latest release of WordPress, please leave a comment/link. Thanks!

horizontal top menu for pages
eye-candy image header that i will change monthly - doesn’t need to change automatically or from the admin
every post should display categories and tags associated with it
post width > 700px (not counting the widget sidebar)
1 (max 2) widget sidebar on the right
footer widgets or customizable footer
individual post page should have navigation to previous and next post
post width large comments box/form with captcha and option to subscribe to comments
contact page with contact form
dark overall background, white background for type

I am currently writing this post on my blackberry and I am using the wordpress admin to do it! It’s a great mobile experience and I never thought the admin would be so friendly on a handheld device.

I am enjoying the classical 11 ron espresso that I am enjoying before every flight and I’m starting to like my blacberry 8800 more and more.

Speaking of things I love, my beautiful wife got a promotion @work and I just want to take this opportunity to tell her how happy I am for us and to whish her a great week!

Girl you take advantage that I am away and do all that crazy and wild stuff you do with your girlfriends! Love you dearly!

Hi folks,

My blog has the same URL, but I finally manage to settle on a new theme/design for my updated blog. I’m using a theme from Dezinerfolio on a fresh install of wordpress as my old blog was to crowded with mods and plugins and was to damn time consuming to update it.I am not a fan o changing designs monthly and this is why it took so long until i settled on the current design. I feel this design better represents who I am and what I do. On this blog you will get new posts more frequently, more business related articles, more photography and …the new “Romanian posts” category that I’ve just decided to start…

All in all, if you were one of my “many” (LOL) readers, I hope you will enjoy the new Webmyc Blog and come here more often. Don’t forget to bring your friends!
