Folded map. Unique concept?
A couple of days ago there was some buzz on Twitter about the truly original header of Campaign Monitor Worldview feature. It’s indeed a fresh and new approach: But 4 months ago, a Romanian designer, Claudiu Cioba, posted this on dribbble:
Continue reading
Încă una despre România
What if I told you of a place where there is a growing and vibrant IT entrepreneurial community, and yet it is in a country that lacks a single university in the top 500 in the world? This is exactly what I found in Romania these past few days. via: Does an Innovation Ecosystem Need an “MIT” or Will Evita Perons Do?: A Romanian Tale Asta apropo de postul anterior.

Off to the mountains
IMG_1698, originally uploaded by altrix. I can no longer stand the heat in Bucharest and decided to go for a breath of fresh air. I will be gone next week – in the mountains, Rodnei mountains. It’s been 11 years since my last visit there – I hope Ioji, the self-taught bodybuilder mountain rescuer is still there so I can have a drink with him and remember the old times. 600km away from Bucharest, in northern Romania – probably we … Continue reading

May 1st – Roadtrip!
I will be AFK (away from keyboard) most of this week as Dana and myself are taking a country road trip with Hawkeye :). We plan to reach some of the major fortified churches from Transylvania, take some nice pictures and relax, relax, relax. I hope to have the mood to document every old village we photograph and maybe show you on our return, a different kind of Romania. My wife and I hooked up on May 1st 1999 and … Continue reading
