Sa invatam sa folosim Facebook – ep. #1

Postul de mai jos e primul dintr-o serie (sper) prin care voi incerca sa blow some steam explicand niste fenomene Facebookiste tangente cu spamul. Nu fac eu pe desteptu’ dar ma gandesc ca sunt persoane carora le-ar fi util sa stie ce li se intampla si cum pot preveni mesajele nedorite. Cred cu tarie ca “a cunoaste” e primul pas spre un Internet mai curat.

In ultimele zile, mai mult decat pana acum, am inceput sa fim (cu totii) bombardati de calupuri de cate 2 mesaje (alerte Facebook) conform carora

  1. cineva ne-a tag-uit intr-o poza
  2. aceeasi persoana a comentat la o poza cu noi.

hi5 Sucks

Anti Hi5 I just canceled my account with hi5 for 2 simple reasons:

  1. I don’t use hi5 services, probably I am not in the target group but I created my account initially just to see what’s it about
  2. I received complaints from my contacts and friends that claimimg I posted a porn image, linking to a porn site, as a profile comment. I did not do that and as long as Hi5 back-end allows these kind of things to happen, I opt-out.

I am amazed to see that Hi5 is one of the most accessed social network from Romania and this considering that it’s full of spam, malicious code and fake accounts. We have a long way to go. :(
